Initial Visit

On your first visit you will meet our wonderful team members who make all of our patients feel so welcome. You will have had the opportunity to fill out all the paperwork necessary either online or upon arriving. Next you will meet Dr. Godino and his assistant Nahid who will seat you in one of our operatories where we can assess your dental desires and needs.

If our schedule permits, you will ideally be seen by the doctor first for approximately one hour followed by a one hour hygiene appointment.

In most cases a complete examination and treatment plan can be formulated at the initial visit. Where a more complex treatment plan is needed we may spend the first visit accumulating all the necessary information, including study models and photos, and spend a second visit to fully explain your condition and discuss treatment options and costs.

Your initial visit will consist of carefully reviewing your medical history and any previous x-rays that you may bring with you. We will then take any additional x-rays needed to give us a complete radiographic picture of your dental health. A comprehensive clinical exam will be performed including oral cancer and TMJ screenings.

We will inform you of all findings and work with you to achieve the results YOU want to achieve. Some people desire only to maintain a decay-free and periodontally sound state whereas others desire to take advantage of all that state-of-the-art dentistry has to offer, and others somewhere in-between. We believe that everyone deserves to have the highest level of dentistry available to them but not forced upon them.
